Eden Island Seychelles

Have you ever wonder where is the best place for a carefree vacation or even just to re-locate due to being tired of living in your current location and to make it your permanent resident? I have just the right answer for you, continue reading...

The mid-ocean islands of the Seychelles has positioned itself as the new destination offering luxury villas for sale. This is being reported right around the world, and the latest country to bring out these new possibilities was South Africa in their respected "PROPERTY" magazine. Firstly, the design of the island, being man made, surprises in that it is not a 'conventional' island shape; instead, large parts of the island has been excavated to create more waterways and much of an 'at one with nature and water' experience than you would expect, creating an interest, a character, that defines the island. A feeling that, had nature been involved in the design.

That’s right...Eden Island very conveniently located mid way between the international airport and the Seychelles capital – Victoria. The location is perfect for discovering Mahe in a short time.

The stylish Villas at Eden Island Seychelles, with their deep verandas, are modeled on the old Seychelles plantations manor houses and allow a person to revel in a sense of openness, as do all the properties on this island paradise.
Here in the Seychelles we're defying the trend, visitor numbers are up year-on-year by 12 percent. We must be the only destination in the world reporting such growth in this economic climate. Eden Island today joins the other Seychelles properties, namely Desroches Island, the Four Seasons, Banyan Tree Resorts, and Felicite Island, to offer on the world market, luxury villas for sale, and they have turned the tropical island of the Seychelles, with its perpetual summer climate, as being the 'in place' for the purchasing of luxury villas. These private residences are being sold in tandem with a tourism industry that has been restructured and that is today working well. The country's tourism industry remains the pillar of the Seychelles economy for the mid-ocean islands.

The apartments are excellent value for money, huge, spotlessly clean and very fancy with a fantastic view over the marina. Eden Island is nurtured with Luxury well fitted & furnished 2 bedroom waterfront marina 'penthouse' apartment [2nd floor] superb security, privacy and sea views. Both bedrooms en suite, open plan fully fitted and equipped 'Miele' kitchen, open plan dining & living rooms, Huge 'wrap around' covered sea facing terrace with gas BBQ, covered terrace off 2nd bedroom, fully air conditioned, fully serviced, accommodating 4 guests. Stunning views of International Marina, turquoise sea and Mahe mountains in the background. 170 sqm of luxury holiday living. For the holiday maker the stunning 2 bedroom waterfront marina apartment on Eden Island offers a superb range of facilities and amenities.
The unit is within easy reach of numerous restaurants, retail outlets and some of the world's most pristine beaches. Featuring private beaches and as a marina development, Eden Island offers a wide range of water related recreational facilities in this Island paradise. A small bar and restaurant, a good supermarket and two swimming pools are within easy reach. The only downside is that it is not directly on one of the beautiful Seychelles beaches. However, Mahe is small and beaches can be reached quickly by car. Also, the Cerf Island Resort picks up day guests at the Eden Marina and for a small fee you can spend a day on their beach in a beautiful marine national park just 10 minutes by boat from Eden island.

Super yachts and catamarans lazily cruise by with their occupants soaking up the midday sun. Coconuts, papayas, bananas and pomegranates grow outside your front door and make the perfect breakfast. There is also fresh produce available for home cooking on the island. You can dive into the idyllic ocean almost anywhere (and anytime) for a snorkel or swim. Also be sure to match one of the stunning sunsets from anywhere in the Seychelles.

Most of the people do not know where Seychelles is situation or haven’t even heard about Seychelles when I told them I’m from the Seychelles. Their first question is where is it? Later followed by other questions because they are curious to know where is that place and to know about the people, its culture and other important information about the Seychelles.

Seychelles is location in between 4 to 10 degrees latitude south and between 46 to 56 longitudes east of the Indian Ocean, north of Madagascar. The archipelago is made up of 115 islands, of which 41 are granites and 74 are coralline. The Main island of Seychelles where there are the most inhabitants is called Mahe. The capital is Victoria (as seen in photo)

How is the weather like in the Seychelles?
The weather in the Seychelles is generally warm and humid. The maximum temperature is about 31.8ºC and the minimum temperature is 24.4ºC with a humidity of 80%. Like in Europe you have 4 seasons whereas Seychelles has only 2 seasons; the south-east monsoon and the north-west monsoons. The south-east monsoon is from May to September and it is the dry period. The north-west monsoon is from October to April this rather erratic wind brings high humidity. You can expect calm seas, but with little or no breeze it is often extremely hot and humid. There is generally less rainfall on Praslin than Mahe because of Mahe higher mountains. La Digue however is flatter and this does not necessarily mean rain on La Digue. The Seychelles is a tropical island so you can expect rain throughout the year!

What is the Seychelles population?

Seychelles has about 81,000 inhabitants. With is a mix race of European, Asian, African cultures.

Since Seychelles were discovered by the French colony, the people of Seychelles speak French and then the English took over years later and the mother tongue is Creole. Seychelles has a very rich culture in food. The food is always spicy and the Creole cuisine is of a tropical delicacy. As we are surrounded by Sea, the main dish of the Seychellois families will evolve around Fishes. You can enjoy the spicy grilled fish or even the smoked or barbecued fishes in almost every corner of the island. Stews and curries are also very popular amongst the Seychellois. The staple food is rice and all the dishes will be garnish with salads or satiny made from different vegetables either imported or which has been produced locally.

Music

Most of the European music’s is tuned in by the people of the Seychelles. As every country has their own music, Seychelles traditional music is the “moutya”, “camtole” and the “sega”.
